The Shiner Half Moon Holidays BBQ Cook-Off Scholarship Fundraiser is an annual two-day event at Green-Dickson Park, put on by the Shiner Chamber of Commerce together with its sponsors.
Local pitmasters compete in the BBQ cook-off while vendors serve barbecue and other treats. The event also features live music, games and activities. Proceeds fund scholarships for students in the community.
