Majek Winery sits on historic FM 957 in the village of Moravia (Schulenburg), roughly 20 minutes north of Shiner. It is housed in a rustic pole barn, hosts live Texas music on Saturdays and serves appetizers, salads and sandwiches to go with its award-winning wines.
The 1.5-acre working vineyard grows Black Spanish and Blanc Du Bois grapes, and the winery also sources grapes from the Texas High Plains, the Texas Hill Country and Lavaca County. Its wine is made exclusively from Texas grapes.
Guests can relax inside the cozy barn or outdoors with vineyard views.
